What is Condensed Aerosol Technology?
ALLTEC Condensed Aerosol Fire extinguishing agent is made of microscopic particles that do not deplete oxygen or ozone, like Halon or CO2. They do not leave toxic or corrosive residue like Foam or Dry Powder, and they do not need big, pressurized cylinders that take lots of space and require expensive recharging. ALLTEC Aerosol systems are safe, non- pressurized, compact and virtually maintenance free. They have a five year Warranty, a twenty year life-expectancy and do not harm people or the environment because they work in a unique, eco-friendly way to suppress fire.
Fire is caused by the presence of four components: Heat, fuel, oxygen, and the molecular chain-reaction of so called, ‘Free radicals’ that keep fire burning. All conventional extinguishers attempt to suppress fire by reducing heat or oxygen or isolating the fuel, in a variety of eco-damaging ways. Unlike any of these, ALLTEC Condensed Aerosol works instantly and primarily by disrupting the actual molecular chain of ‘Free radicals’ that keep fire burning.

AEROSOL PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES
The Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Systems has significant properties and advantages in comparison with traditional extinguishing systems (Carbon Dioxide, FM 200, Inergen, Halon, foam, sprinkler systems etc )
Very high concentration of Extinguishing Media:
Very high concentration of extinguishing media i.e. 0.2 – 0.4 % by volume or 67 – 100 g/m 3 . The required concentration of CO 2 is 40 – 45% by volume, halon 1301 (9CF 3 Br) is 3.5 – 5% by volume and of halon FM 200 (C 3 F 7 H) is 5. 8% by volume. The very low concentration is the result of the extremely high efficiency of The Condensed Aerosol Extinguishers, as a result the total initial costs are reduced.
Warrantee & life span:
The Condensed Aerosol Extinguishers are installed with a 5 year warrantee with a 20 year life, that is, 25% more than any other extinguishing Unit available globally.
Re-ignition Protection:
After release of the Aerosol extinguishing agent in the protected space, the particles of the Aerosol settle on the surfaces and form a fire protective layer thus preventing re-ignition and can easily be brushed – off from any type of surface without causing any further negative effect to furniture, electrical installation, machinery etc.
No Oxygen depletion potential:
The Aerosol Extinguishing agent has no effect on the extinguishing process in the protected space, therefore there is no significant change in oxygen levels in the protected space before and after release of extinguishing agent.
No Pressurized Cylinders:
The Aerosol Charge is not contained in dangerous pressurized cylinders, the Aerosol Charge is in a solid state before activation, therefore pressure tests, no refills, less maintenance and no storage facilities are needed.
No Temperature Shock:
The Aerosol during the extinguishing process has no after effects of temperature shock, therefore does not produce any negative effects due to condensation, unlike some other gas extinguishing media’s.
Environmentally friendly:
The Aerosol has no negative affect to the ozone i.e. no ozone depletion potential. (please find attached comparison chart)
Non Toxic:
The Aerosol is non toxic, therefore is non carcinogenic, non mutagenic or teratogenic concentrations, our aerosol meets the IMO MSC Circ. 1270 which is we ll below the No Adverse Affect Level.(please find attached comparison chart).
Effectively extinguishes fire of Classes A, B & C simultaneously ( except for spaces were explosive mixture is present):
It is designed for extinguishing fires of solid flammable materials, flammable liquids, machinery and electrical equipment up to 2 0 kV (Di – electric).
No negative effect to protected equipment:
Since The Aerosol is also non – corrosive the Aerosol has no negative effect during and after release to the protected items. A thin film is produced as a cover to prevent re-ignition, this can easily be removed using a vacuum cleaner or wet cloth within 48 hrs after release.
Chemically neutral:
Due to it’s chemical stability the aerosol is not explosive and does not react with other elements, thus causing no rust or deterioration.
Reliability:
Even if the control system fails, in case of fire the system will automatically activate. This is because the Extinguishing units has its own built in sensors to activate at approx. 380 o C
Flexibility:
The Extinguishing Control System activates the Aerosol generators via electrical means (not pressure) and can be operated automatically or manually with abort and separate time delay for each zone.
Since electrically activated the system is 100% connected both using conventional methods and/or addressable control panel, being addressable the extinguishing generators can be integrated & differentiated into multi – zones (16 zones per panel), this facility dramatically reducing costs of installation and costs of equipment used for medium to large size projects.
In addition, a printer and black box is also built in the panel which records and therefore, can retrieve factual events which will aid in the investigations and insurance claims after a fire event.
100% Electrical:
Our System’s are highly superior and have high safety specifications were all electrical circuits are monitored electronically and an unlimited protected space can be extinguished using a single cable, making the system more cost effective and with minimal maintenance costs.
Easy Installation:
The system is connected with cables, therefore pressurized cylinders, pipes, valves, solenoids, storage facilities etc. are obsolete, as a result reducing further the initial installation costs.
Low Cost of Installation & Minimal Maintenance requirements:
The System has no need for pressurized cylinders, pipes, valves, solenoids, storage facilities etc., therefore it can be concluded that the system does not require h eavy duty transportation, heavy duty installations, no pressure tests, no purging of pipe lines, minimal spare parts & other moving parts, minimal ware and tare, less installation equipment requirements and less time required during installation & maintena nce.
